MR. ERNEST R. TRAINER Of Huntsville and formerly of Scotia Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 8, 2012. Mr. Ernie Trainer, beloved husband of the late Ethel (nee Cartwright) was in his 94th year. Dear father of Elvina Morton (Ed) of Dryden, Eunice Byers (Lyall) of Callander, Norm Trainer of Scotia and Eileen McCurdy of Scotia. Cherished grandfather of Roger, Roland, Gerald, Lana, Dean, Cheryl, Darryl, Karl, Wanita and Shawn. Proud great grandfather of 13 great grandchildren. Ernie will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Ernie Trainer will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday July 12, 2012. Interment in Emsdale United Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
