MRS. ELEANOR ANN HURST (nee Sawyer) Of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday March 28, 2011. Mrs. Eleanor Hurst was in her 68th year. Dear mother of Doug Edwards, Cindy Cox (Terry), Connie Edwards, Lesa Edwards (Willy) and Robyn Hurst. Cherished grandmother of Shannon Edwards, Amanda Cox-Zamaria (Randy), Adam Cox and Joshua Edwards. Great grandmother of Brett, Abby, Isabella and Brady. Loving sister of Vernon Sawyer (Blanche), Jack Sawyer (Gail) and predeceased by brother Carman Sawyer and sister Dorothy Baker. Eleanor will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday March 31, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Hurst will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 1, 2011.
