Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday October 1, 2018 in her 90th year.
Effie Thorne (nee Paige), beloved wife of the late Arnold Thorne.
Dear mother of Edna Basso, Orville Folliott and predeceased by sons Larry, Garry, Harry and daughters Gloria and Lois.
Loving grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother of many.
Cherished sister of Eva, Lorne and predeceased by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday October 4, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Effie Thorne will be conducted in the chapel on Friday October 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Steve May officiating.
Interment at the Siloam Cemetery in Machar Township.
If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
