MR. EDWARD G. ROBINSON of Burk's Falls and Stoney Creek Peacefully at Hunstville District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 29, 2014. Mr. Ed Robinson, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Post), was in his 90th year. Dear father of Donna Crawford (George), Dianne Brandon (Max), Wendy Whitwell (Graham), Ron Robinson (Marilyn) and Lori Williams (Chris). Proud grandfather of Dan, Mark, Kyle (Carrie), Breanne, Jackie (Casey), Eric, Garett and Kailey. Great grandfather of Kyleigh. Predeceased by siblings; Emerson Robinson and Meryle Old. In his later years he found companionship with Phyllis Leggett. Ed will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday May 2, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Also at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Robinson will be conducted in the chapel of the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 5, 2014. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Milton, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
