MR. EDWARD ALBERT ELSTONE Formerly of Sundridge Peacefully at the Tudor Manor in Huntsville on Saturday August 1, 2009 in his 92nd year. Edward Elstone, beloved husband of Grace Elstone. Loving father of Marie Dam (Terry) of British Columbia, Charles (Vivian) of North Carolina, Elaine and Eloise of the Almaguin Area and the late Donald. Cherished grandfather of Jake (Lori), Matthew, Brian (Cathy), and Karen. Dear brother of Ester (Fred). Predeceased by parents Essie and Wilson Richard Elstone and siblings Ven, Donald, and Robert. Fondly remembered by his many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends in the area. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 467 Sundridge will conduct a tribute service in the chapel Wednesday evening at 6:30 P.M. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Wednesday August 5, 2009 from 7 to 9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Elstone will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday August 6, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Fred Grey officiating. Interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
