MRS. EDNA FERN THOMPSON Of Sundridge and formerly of Normandale Peacefully at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Saturday December 15, 2012 in her 87th year. Edna Thompson (nee Pake), beloved wife of the late Max Thompson. Cherished sister of Alice Webster (late Rex) and predeceased by sisters Betty Eden (late Fred) and Vina Thompson (late Frank). Loving aunt of Susan Paige (Lorne), Tom Webster (Susan), Max Webster (Bonita), Carol Holden (Zane), Dave Webster (Cathy), Rosemary Kicksee (Paul) and Nellie Kicksee (Terry). Fondly remembered by many great and great great nieces and nephews and the entire Kicksee family. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Tuesday December 18, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Edna Thompson will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Jim Nicholson officiating. Spring interment at the Normandale Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
