MRS. EDNA LOUISE BOYES Of Sundridge Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Thursday July 5, 2012 in her 96th year. Edna Boyes (nee Darlison), beloved wife of the late Cedric Boyes. Dear mother of Helen Chapman (Robert Monroe) of New York, Don Boyes (Jane) of Sundridge and Dennis Boyes (Gail) of Sundridge. Loving grandmother of Steven (Martina), Karen (Pierre), Paul (Christine), Emily (Henry), Michael (Jennifer), Terry (Vanessa), Kristy (Steve), Mark and great grandmother of 18 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Jim Darlison and predeceased by sister Irene. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Sunday July 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Edna Boyes will be conducted at the Zion United Church in Sundridge on Monday July 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Lori Campbell and the Reverend Kathleen McCallum officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations the Zion United Church would be appreciated.
