Edna Ayres

EDNA AYRES (nee Corcoran) of Kearney Peacefully, in her home and surrounded by her family, priest and dear friends on Tuesday July 3, 2012. Edna was in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Ayres. Dear mother of Joyce Murray (Michael) and Wendy Gattozzi (Ross). Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Travis), Katelyn, Jonathan (Ana) and Tyler. Proud great grandmother of Noah. Loving sister of Peggy Cobb (Ken) and Marty Corcoran (Donna). Edna will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Edna Ayres will be conducted at the Parish of the Good Shepherd in Emsdale commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 6, 2012 with Reverend Jeffery Hooper officiating. Interment in Knox United Cemetery in Kearney. If desired, memorial donations to the Parish of the Good Shepherd, the Kearney First Response Team or the St. Patrick's Restoration Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
