ED KORNHOFER Of Magneatwan Peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home in Huntsville on Thursday June 14, 2018. Ed Kornhofer, beloved husband of Agnes, was in his 84th year. Dear father of Brigitte Grima (Michael). Proud Opa of Sarrah James (David) and Christopher Grima (Kate) and Opapa to Dominic and Benjamin. Ed is survived by his sister Maria Holzman and predeceased by his siblings: Anton, Wilhelm, Herta, Erna and Hedi. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday June 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.. A service to celebrate Ed's life will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. Interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Fairvern Nursing Home would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
