MR. DOUGLAS LANG McDONALD (of Sundridge) Suddenly, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday April 9, 2011 in his 70th year. Doug McDonald, beloved husband of Carole McDonald (nee Gibson) of Sundridge. Dear father of Reverend Jamie McDonald (Carrie) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Michael McDonald of Barrie. Predeceased by his son Paul McDonald. Loving grandfather of Julie, Daniel and Natasha McDonald. Predeceased by parents Bucko and Tot McDonald. Cherished brother-in-law of John Gibson. Fondly remembered by Jennifer McDonald and all of his family and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Thursday April 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Doug McDonald will be conducted at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, Sundridge on Friday April 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Paul Snow and the Reverend Jamie McDonald officiating. Interment of cremated remains in the Strong Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
