Dear father of Cheryl Moore (Kevin), Stephen Lawrence and father-in-law of Paula Johnston. Loving grandfather of John, Kristina, Daniel, Katelynn and Ashley. Cherished brother of Gary Lawrence (Sue), uncle of Kaitlyn and Wayne, brother-in-law of Ivan McGirr (Shirley) and son-in-law of Vera McGirr (Bill Earl). Predeceased by parents Doug and Myrt Lawrence. Fondly remembered by his other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Tuesday May 22, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. Members of the Sundridge Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a tribute service on May 22, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. in the chapel. A service to celebrate the life of the late Douglas Lawrence will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating.
