MR. DOUGLAS BRYANT of Burk's Falls Peacefully at his home on Sunday February 9, 2014 with his loving wife and dear companions; Jack and Cujo (a.k.a. Homer) at his side. Doug Bryant, beloved husband of Beatrice Thibodeau Bryant was in his 62nd year. Dear father of Jennifer Bryant (Chris), Leighann Miller (Jimmy), Chris Bryant, Bob Thibodeau, Ernie Thibodeau (Kelly) and Joe Thibodeau (Tammy). Proud grandfather of many. Doug is predeceased by his brothers Bobby, Pete and Alfie, grand daughters Jocelyn Leigh, Laura Miller and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Doug Bryant will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday February 13, 2014 with Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
