MRS. DOROTHY IRELAND (of Sundridge) Peacefully at Eastholme Home for the Aged in Powassan on Monday April 18, 2011 in her 91st year. Dorothy Ireland (nee McAmmond), beloved wife of the late Gordon Ireland. Dear mother of Pat Orban (Alfred) of Regina, Garey Bennett (Beverley) of Sudbury and Morgan Ireland (Claudette) of Orleans. Loving grandmother of Giles, Warren, Caralyn, John, Lisa, Sherri-Lynn, Patrick, Adrienne, Morgan Anne and great grandmother of Milo. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street Sundridge on Wednesday April 20, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Dorothy Ireland will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday April 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
