MRS. DORIS EMILY ROBERTS (nee Maynard) of Emsdale Suddenly at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday September 18, 2009. Mrs. Doris Roberts was in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Kenneth Roberts for 64 years. Dear mother of Linda Trimble (Bruce) and Roderick (Bette). Cherished grandmother of Kevin (Shirley), Deeanna (Jeff), Tom (Ciara), Kirk, Mike (Roberta), Craig (Tina) and Christa (Troy). Loving great grandmother of Tyler, Kayla, Adam, Jessica, Clarity, Alysse, Samantha, Kelsey, Kyle, Matthew and Elizabeth. Doris will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burks Falls on Sunday September 20, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life the late Mrs. Roberts will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 21, 2009. Reverend Patrick McManus of the Parish of the Good Shepherd officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery in Huntsville at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
