MRS. DOREEN WARD of Emsdale Peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home in Trout Creek on Wednesday November 27, 2013. Mrs. Doreen Ward, beloved wife of the late Bob Byerlay, was in her 76th year. Dear mother of Christine Chalk (Stan) of Kelowna BC, Debbie Byerlay (Steve) of Emsdale and Cynthia Veenstra of Kelowna BC. Proud grandmother of Antoinette, Candice, Brad, the late Allan, Pamela and Charles. Great grandmother of Rom. Doreen is survived by her sister Dorothy Meyer (Warren) and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. Interment of cremated remains to take place in the Spring of 2014 in the Emsdale United Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Lady Isabelle Nursing Home or the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family
