Donna Marie Murdoch

With heavy hearts the Murdoch Family announce the passing of Donna Murdoch (nee Wood) peacefully at home on Friday January 24, 2025 after a long and courageous battle.

Donna, in her 65th year leaves her beloved husband Brian, daughter Kristy (Pat Skiffington), cherished grandson Colton of Sundridge and son Sean Murdoch of North Bay.

She is predeceased by her father Alan Wood and survived by her parents Marlene and Danny Patrick of Sundridge, and her siblings: Cheryl Stewart (Gary) Dale Wood (Cynthia), Brian Wood (Martha).

She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her greatest pleasures were spending time with family and friends, bowling, baseball, hosting card parties and tending to her beautiful flower beds.

The family is hosting a casual celebration of Donna’s life at the Sundridge Royal Canadian Legion BR#467 on Saturday May 10, 2025 from 1-3 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, Sundridge.

Donations in Donna’s memory to the Huntsville Hospital Chemo/Infusion Clinic c/o Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
