MR. DONALD STEWART MacLEAN Of Kearney Peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home in Huntsville on Thursday November 12, 2009. Mr. Don MacLean was in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Edna. Dear father of Donna Foley (Thomas), Valerie Grundy and Robert MacLean (Elizabeth). Cherished grandfather of Jamie, Stephen, Robert, Ria, Jennie, Alex and Graeme. Predeceased by brother Alan MacLean (Lenora) and sister Myrna Whitton. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovksy Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday November 14, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. MacLean will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday November 14, 2009. Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. Interment of cremated remains in the Knox United Cemetery in Kearney at a later date.
