MR. DONALD CHARLES FURLONG (Of South River) Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital-Scollard site on Friday July 16, 2010 in his 82nd year. Don Furlong, beloved father of Susan Furlong, Donna Furlong (Yvan St Germain), Cindy Craig (Tim), Kim Berube (Bruce Woolman) and Michelle Falardeau (Marc). Loving grandfather of Cory, Michael, Lori, Terry-Lynn, Curtis, Brady, Charlene, Jenny, Dana, Marco, Alley and great grandfather of Caleb and Gracie. Dear brother of Roy (deceased), Betty (deceased), Wayne, Gary, Hart and Diane. Fondly remembered by his friend Vito Booth, his nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Tuesday July 20, 2010 from 7 - 9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Don Furlong will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
