MRS. DOLORES JOAN WHITE Of Kearney It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dolores at the Huntsville and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday April 6, 2014 in her 86th year. Dolores White (nee Leflar), beloved wife of the late Emmett White. Dear mother of Patti Gilchrist and Joan Elton both of Kearney. Loving Nan of Tara (Zac), Katie (Mike), Hillary (Mark), Nicholas (Kirsten), Nigel (Fathom) and great Nan of Max, Ryan and Elliot. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the entire Kearney community. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Dolores White will be conducted at the St. Patrick's Church in Kearney on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Father John Albao officiating. Spring interment at the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery in Kearney. The family will be developing an Educational Scholarship in memory of Dolores and if desired, donations may be made through the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk's Falls.
