MR. DAVID HOBBS Of Bear Lake Peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Bracebridge Hospital on Thursday May 17, 2018 at the age of 82. Dave Hobbs, endeared and loving husband of almost 60 years of Marjorie Hobbs. Precious dad of Lynn Zemnicky (Mike) and Dave Hobbs (Kristi). Proud pops and papa of Pat (Galina), Lucas and Logan. Cherished brother of Winnie, Dennis (Joan), Dale and predeceased by brother Roy. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arrangements for the late Dave Hobbs are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. Dave's enthusiasm for life spilled over onto all he met. He was a Lorne Scots with a kilt, a police officer, an avid fisherman and hunter, a pilot - no one could keep up with him. He was a generous soul. Dave was an incredible family man and his family was his proudest accomplishment.
