MR. CLIFFORD C. REEDS A former Mayor and lifelong resident of Kearney Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday July 11, 2012. Mr. Cliff Reeds was in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Claudia Reeds (nee Hart) and the late Dawn Reeds (nee McPhail). Dear father of Clifford Reeds (Shirley), Charles Reeds and Carrie Simcoe. Stepfather to Bill Rand, Kelly Rand and Trudy Frankum. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Ronald, Nancy, Mary, Norm and predeceased by brothers Dale and Karl. Cliff will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday July 13, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Cliff Reeds will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 14, 2012 with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. Interment in Sand Lake Log Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family
