MR. CARROLL ALBERT GILCHRIST Of Huntsville and formerly of Kearney Peacefully at his home in Huntsville on Thursday January 7, 2010. Mr. Carroll Gilchrist was in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Rickward). Dear father of Wayne (Mary-Rae) and Doug (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Bryan, Andrew, Katie, Tyler, Morgan and Wade. Great grandfather to Ava and Hayden. Carroll is survived by his sister Jean Bennison and will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday January 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Gilchrist will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday January 10, 2010. Reverend Doctor Dorothy Wilson officiating. Spring interment in Knox United Cemetery in Kearney.
