CARL KUNKEL of Sundridge Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday December 16, 2017. Carl Kunkel, beloved husband of Karen, was in his 62nd year. Dear father of Melissa Thomas (Matthew), Michael Kunkel and Kayla Thomas. Proud grandfather of Ethan, Addison, Jackson, Austin, Alicia, Brooklyn and Benno. Carl is survived by his sister Elke Tillack, is the dear uncle of Dorian, Sacha (Jen) and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the CNIB or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
