MRS. BIRDIE MITCHELL (NEE JUDD) Passed away peacefully into the presence of her Saviour at the Lady Isabelle Nursing Home in Trout Creek, Ontario on Wednesday August 7, 2013 in her 92nd year. One last breath here on earth, and the next, breathing celestial air and walking streets of gold. Predeceased by her loving husbands; Wallace Millar, T.E. Harley and Reverend A.G.E. Mitchell. Beloved youngest daughter of Samuel Alexander Judd and Beryl Armstrong (Burk's Falls) and sister of Walter Judd (Ruth), Douglas Judd (Florence), Margaret Dunn (John) and Isobel Johnston Winborne (Gordon, Laurie) all predeceasing her. Survived by her two daughters; Marie Millar (Bev Campbell) and Robyn Harley (Pat Hall), 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday August 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with service to follow at 12:00 noon in the Jennett Chapel of the McClelland and Slessor Funeral Home, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie, Ontario. Interment to follow at the Barrie Union Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk's Falls and the McClelland and Slessor Funeral Home-Jennett Chapel in Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gideon's International in Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
