BILL BURKE of Burk's Falls Suddenly at his home in Burk's Falls on Monday April 20, 2015. Bill Burke, beloved husband of Edie for 62 years, was in his 80th year. Dear father of Mike (Shirley), Andy (Jackie), Lila, the late Heather and the late James. Proud grandfather and great grandfather of 45 children. He is survived by his sisters Joan Hall and Sharon Bonazza and predeceased by brother Fred Burke and sister Linda Maki. Bill will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. If desired, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
