BETTY JEAN MARSHALL Of Burk's Falls Peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and love on April 21, 2018. Betty Jean Marshall, beloved wife of the late Lyle Marshall and the late Snorkie MacDonald, was in her 84th year. Dear mother of Willie (Debbie), George, Jeannie (Clare), Joey (Cathy), Donald (Karen), Irene (Rick), Doug (Janice), Roy and Darren. Proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Betty Jean is survived by her sister Mary Bartlett (Ken) and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. A celebration of Betty Jean's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 405, 5 Mary Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday May 20, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Zion Hill Cemetery (Summit) in Copetown, Ontario commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 26, 2018. Following the service the family will receive visitors at the Lynden Legion, Branch 500 in Lynden, Ontario at 12:00 p.m. until 2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
