BEATRICE DAVIES Of South River Peacefully at her residence in South River on Thursday September 6, 2012 in her 77th year. Bea Davies (nee Craig), beloved wife of Bob Davies. Dear mother of Heather Davies (Rob Straby), Robyn Davies (Babs Aiyede) and Judy Davies (Brian Stevenson). Loving grandmother of Rhys, Foster, Ethan, Michelle, Cecilia, Isabel, Bayo, Elizabeth and Erica Jane. Cherished sister of David (Elizabeth), Robert (Mary Ellen), Carol, Gerda (Ken) and predeceased by brother Herbie, sister Joan, brother-in-law Doug and sister-in-law Doris. Sister-in-law of Sonia and Bruce and niece of Gord Phillips. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, couins and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Chalmers United Church in South River on Monday September 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Bea Davies will be conducted in the church on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Dennis Landry and the Reverend Joan Smith officiating. Interment will take place at the Lifford Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to Plan International Canada Inc. (Because I am a Girl Fund) would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
