ASTRID LISA TAIM Of Burk's Falls Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday May 21, 2012. Astrid Lisa Taim was 58 years old at the time of her passing. She is the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Sally Taim. Astrid was a lady of many talents. She was an artist, author, architectural historian, photographer and journalist. Most notable was her great sense of humor, intelligence, creativity and positive outlook on life even in the face of adversity. Astrid was one amazing lady not soon to be forgotten. She will be fondly remembered by all her dear friends and Scouting family. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to any of the following charities would be sincerely appreciated: the Toronto Humane Society, the Salvation Army, the Banting and Best Diabetes Centre at the University of Toronto or the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation.
