MR. ARTHUR JAMES WILLIS Of South River Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard site on Tuesday January 6, 2009 in his 85th year. Art Willis, beloved husband of the late Margaret Pauline Willis. Dear father of Peter of Victoria Harbour, Malcolm (Carol) of South River, Jude of Toronto, Paul (Lydia) of Hamilton, and Evelyn of Toronto. Dear grandfather of Rebecca, Melanie (Darryl), Jessica, Gabriel (Sylvia), Grayton, Sarah, Amanda, Henry, Andrew and great grandfather of Medelaine, Unique, Alyssa and Jenna. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and his many friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Sunday January 11, 2009 from 2-3 P.M. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 467, Sundridge will conduct a tribute service in the chapel on Sunday at 2:45 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Art Willis will be conducted in the chapel on Sunday January 11, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at the Wattenwyl Cemetery, Lount Township, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467, Sundridge would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
