MR. ARCHIE McCABE Of Sundridge Suddenly at his home on Thursday August 13, 2009 in his 76th year. Archie McCabe, beloved husband of Joan McCabe (nee Botham). Loving father of Peggy (Milt) Haggart, Linda (Joe) Major, Debbie (David) Russell, Rhoda (Gord) Furlong and David (Marilyn) McCabe. Cherished grandfather of Clinton, Dustin, Travis, Dillon, Matthew, Brad, Darren, Crystal (Tom), April (James), Adam, Cody, Cassandra, Jenniffer (Charlie), Lindsay and Lisa (Ryan). Loving great grandfather of Corbin, Nathan and Haylee. Dear brother of Pearl McCabe of Brampton. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Rhoda McCabe and siblings Etta Buchanan, Bill McCabe, Vernon McCabe and Martha Lane. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Monday August 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. McCabe will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday August 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
