ALICE RAAFLAUB of Sundridge Peacefully at her home in Sundridge on Monday February 9, 2015 in her 77th year. Alice Raaflaub (nee Beettam), beloved wife of Doug Raaflaub. Dear mother of Rosalyn Northrup (Bob), Alison Hines (Wade) and Marilyn Sherry (Paul). Loving grandmother of Michael Northrup, Samantha Tenthorey (Ryne), Justin Hines, Sarah Sherry and Kate Sherry. Cherished sister of Bob Beettam (Bea), Margaret Beettam and sister-in-law of Allan Tough. Predeceased by her triplet sisters Beatrice Scarlett (Gordie) and Carol Tough. Fondly remembered by her other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday February 12, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. and on Friday February 13, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Alice Raaflaub will follow in the chapel at 12:30 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Sundridge Lions Club, the Sundridge Food Bank or a local charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
