MRS. ALICE NORTHCOTE of Katrine (nee Bradford) Peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Saturday April 22, 2017. Mrs. Alice Northcote, beloved wife of the late Albert Northcote, was in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Darrell Hume (Joyce), Penny Boyes (Doug) and Jan Machesney (Tim). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Denevan (Tom), Erin Meredith (Dean), Andrea Hickey (Chris), Greg Boyes (Amy), Dallas Boyes (Mackenzie), Brandon Boyes and Misty Gordon (Aaron). Great grandmother of Seamus and Isabella Denevan, Darrell and Jane Meredith, Caleb Phillips, Josiah Hickey, Hannah Boyes and Aedan Gordon. Alice is the loving daughter of the late Nora and Tom Bradford, is predeceased by her siblings; Elva, Leigh, Irvin, Glady, Muriel, Murray and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday April 24, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Northcote will be conducted in the Katrine United Church, 52 Doe Lake Road in Katrine commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 25, 2017 with Doreen Mason DLM officiating. Interment in the Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Katrine United Church, Building Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
