Albert John Phillips "Bus" With great sadness the family of Bus Phillips announces his passing on August 30, 2017, at the age of 83 years, in Fort Saskatchewan. He will be remembered with love by his wife Linda Phillips; three sons: Randy (Annie) of Inuvik, Ron of Arizona and Rick of Fort Saskatchewan. As well he had five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Cora. Bus was predeceased by his parents Borden and Winnie Phillips of Ontario, daughter-in-law Almara, and three siblings; Pauline, Laura and Glenda. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday September 5th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in St. George's Anglican Church in Fort Saskatchewan. A service to celebrate Bus' life will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls, Ontario on Saturday September 9, 2017 commencing at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Burk's Falls Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Stecyk and all who cared for him. Donations in memory of Bus, may be made to a charity of one's choice.
