MR. ALBERT KEITH HURST Of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Monday March 19, 2018. Keith Hurst was in his 92nd year. Dear father of Charles Hurst of Victoria, BC and Robyn Hurst of Kingston, ON. Proud grandfather of Darren Close of Kimberley, BC and Marla Deptuch of Saskatoon, SK and great grandfather of Dryden and Aiden Close (Darren) and Marlanis, Zachery, Nicholas and Jarrod Deptuch (Marla). Keith is survived by his sister Joyce, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday March 25, 2018 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will take place in the funeral home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Keith's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday March 26, 2018 with Reverend Christopher Davis officiating. Interment at a later date in Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Grace Anglican Church, South River would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
