MR. ALBERT W. CAIRNS "Ab" Suddenly at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto on Tuesday December 18, 2012. Mr. Ab Cairns was in his 70th year. Beloved father of Heather Hodgson (Lewis). Proud grandfather of Mathew Elzby and Dana Hodgson. Ab is survived by his brothers Jack Cairns (Dorothy) and Alan Cairns (Penny) and is predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Cairns. Ab will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. And no matter what else you might hear...He always caught the biggest fish and he always held the winning hand. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday December 22, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Cairns will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 22, 2012 with David Opatovsky officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Driver's Program would be sincerely appreciated by the family
