MR. AL ARKWRIGHT Of Powassan Peacefully at Eastholme Home for the Aged in Powassan on Wednesday July 8, 2009 in his 84th year. Al Arkwright, beloved husband of the late Joyce Arkwright (nee Jones). Loving father of John (Donna) Arkwright and Joanne (Jeff) Desarmia. Cherished grandfather of Carrie (Jon), Lindsay, Leslie. Great grandfather of Tegan. Dear brother of Joan, Jean, Thelma, Paul, the late Charles and the late Pat. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and many friends in the area. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge, Ontario on Saturday July 11, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. A graveside service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Arkwright will be conducted at Strong Cemetery commencing at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday July 12, 2009. Reverend Kathleen McCallum officiating.
