MRS. IVA IRENE WILSON (VanDuzen) of Corbeil Peacefully at Nipissing Manor Nursing Care Centre in Corbeil on Thursday November 18, 2010. Mrs. Iva Wilson was in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Donald Wilson. Loving mother of Marilyn Champagne (late Romeo), Gary Bartlett (Cindy) and Darryl Bartlett (Marilyn). Stepmother to Karl Wilson (Mary), Wayne Wilson (Fran) and James Wilson (Darlene). Iva is predeceased by her son Ron VanDuzen (Judy), parents Maryanne ad Llewellyn Brown, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Lovingly remembered by all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday November 20, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Wilson will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday November 21, 2010. Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. Interment in the Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
